Here’s his talk, entitled "Web Meets World." It’s mostly about how cutting edge development is starting to incorporate things like sensors, turning the collective intelligence of the internet into more than just the sum of users. This expansion into the material world in new ways is going to have important consequences, even if they’re hard to see yet. The one really major example of the web extending into a new, physically embedded devices is the smart phone, and just look at what mobile web access is doing to things. Anyway, worth a watch if you’ve got the time.

Also of note, he shows his political colors (a fairly deep blue) at the end of the talk. It’s interesting to note how the social technology community is evolving to be about much more than just technology, not so surprisingly.
