The great thing about Tina Fey’s wonderful impersonation of Sarah Palin and David Letterman continually going after Senator McCain for canceling an appearance on Late Night is that Republicans watch these shows too.

It’s not like Andrew Sullivan doing a Palin impersonation (although I’d like to see that) or the New York Times criticizing McCain for not showing up.

I don’t think we can underestimate both Fey’s and Letterman’s influence and reach.
